I noticed some people on here were waiting to cream their pants in hopes of this album being much better than their older albums, but such is not the case
these people are now very pissed

i'll admit that i'm not very well versed with death metal or "melodeath" but i acrually quite like this a lot, looking at about a 3, 3.5 at a push.
apparently there are better bands out there though.
could someone suggest any bands worth checking out who are like tbdm but maybe do it "better" or with more variation.

this band has always done what they do really well. they are melodic but still really really fast. i have to say though, i think nocturnal was much more creative. being a drummer, i can't get enough of shannon on this album. he is rediculously good. some recommended tracks: i will return, necropolis, death panorama, and that which erodes the most tender. solid album.

I always find one of the coolest things about TBDM is their lyrics. Even if I didn't like this band at all, I'd still dig the lyrics. The way they are written makes them very entertaining. It's some of the sickest stuff, written very poetically. I mean there are some other DM bands that do it well but for some reason TBDM's stick with me longer.
