There last album was better, but some songs here will probably do well as singles.

It IS catchy. I just don't know if it will retain its value over time.

Sadly I doubt it will. Most hooks are immediate in nature, and those usually don't last too long.

Yeah, thats what I'm thinking. Its a shame though. Some of these songs arent all that bad...

None of them are bad or terrible really, its just more of the same. I don't think the singles from here will be as memorable as the previous albums, but that's just my opinion

tis a shame, but last to know, Someone who cares, and bully are probably the only tracks that will have any lasting appeal.

Last to Know, Without You, and World so Cold will probably be hits as they are just written to be Top 40 singles.

The other two you mentioned I didn't really like at all.

TDG produces art to listen to not music for your disposable. Stop complaining and bagging out Adam on his singing - that's just his nature. You can't complain and if you not happy go make your own album the way you want it. Also, don't compare TDG to stereotypical music in their genre of music. They are their own and unique in their own right - just like every other musician. And just because their verses build up only to a mild chorus then that's the way their cookie crumbles (lol). Stop comparing them to the conventions! Again, (while reading there are so many damn criticisms you bluntly make) TDG recycles subject matter. No one freaking cares because they're obviously topics Adam and the band can relate and sing about.

I feel now TDG are on the border line of being moneymakers or true artists we'll know by the next album. Gregory Kearns, you are highly judgmental so be quiet because you know nothing of MUSIC. There is a huge difference in being a generic musician and artist. I hope that TDG remain an artist and NOT fall into the business and monetary side of music.

It's not a choice in being a musician spewing music and lyrics and disbanding. How could you even suggest such an outrageous statement? You are beyond mediocre, you douche.

And please, Gregory Kearns, if you believe "Life Starts Now" is a complete failure, why don't you go write a better album and see how much musicality there is in it! People these days have no respect for real music. They are brash with their comments and unreasonable in their conclusions.

Mr Douche Bag, and any other person, please read my comment to another mentally incapable commentator for this album here: http://www.musicianforums.com/review_32494.

From his other comment:

"Adagio in G Minor" by Tomas Albinoni there is a great sense of sadness and beauty which can be mirrored in the metal song "Snuff" by Slipknot (from All Hope Is Gone album).

it is true, being a judgemental music reviewer does constitue that i know nothing of music.
How amazing that I've spent so long writing about nothing that I even don't know anything about... my life is a waste.

What are you talking about? Of course it is a choice to be in a band! They can coose to write better lyrics and music or quit the whole thing altogether. Are you out of your mind?

Thanks for the neg... whose judgemental now? yeah, let's pan a review because i disagree with the rating. Real mature fan boy.
