The drums are kind of overpoweringly loud. Or something. The production is just strange maybe.

Got them confused with the Red shore.

This album is okay...this is the first time I haven't completely agreed with a review done by Cocaine though.

I probably won't buy it after listening to it online though. Too much is on the priority list above it.

Hour of Rats is Red Chords best song thus far, and has probably the riff of the year in it. Very pleased with this album, glad to see The Red Chord make up for BTBAMs failure at a listenable CD.

I like nearly every song, but there's something about the production that could be improved.

I got through the first track then skipped around a bit. Eh.

With all the positivity here I might be more inclined to give it another real listen once I get a chance, probably tomorrow.

So you only got through one song and still thought it fair to rate the album a 2.5?

I actually enjoyed this more than Fused, Hour of Rats is definitely my favorite song so far, but really the entire album is solid.

When I first read the press release about this album, I'll admit I was mildly curious. After loving the first two, but not even being interested in "Prey For Eyes", I was hoping this album would trigger a sort of revival for me. Good review and all the positive comments have my interest piqued.

average album. absolutely nothing new for this band. I'm not a big red chord fan so maybe I'm missing something, but this just adds on to their monotonous music

oh well

Good review. Just a small nitpick though:

you forgot the 'e' in "Fed Through the Teeth Machin" in like the first paragraph.

I have yet to check these guys out.

EDIT: trilogique i dig the Youtube poop avatar! (:

Do you not see the contradiction to this statement?

I was really surprised with this release. When I first heard "Demoralizer," I knew I was in for a treat. And I have to agree that "Hour of Rats" is the best song this album, the guitar riffs are just stellar. Also, I love the very end of "Sleepless Nights in the Compound," the melody is awesome.
