Another excellent album by Dismember, though I prefer the band's debut by a margin. On this album I think the instrumental performance is less melodic and more vicious, but that's not to say it's any less effective. "9th Circle" and "Dreaming in Red" would be my personal highlights, if only for the brilliantly written intros.

Solid followup to one of the best death metal debut albums. Very consistent, sick guitar tone, more variety in songwriting compared to their first album.
Pros:
Kärki's vocal performance
Dreaming In Red
Souldevourer
Fleshless
Cons:
It's not 'Like An Everflowing Stream'

I'm in the minority and think this is better than "Like An Ever Flowing Stream." This is a great example of the perfect Death Metal Album. Songwriting slays, performances slay, sound is flawless, and has tons of atmosphere. Was so hard for me to find a brand new copy but once I did it became the gem of my DM collection.
