Main issue is that it doesn't have the diversity of the others. It becomes sort of monotone and too predictable, even for radio rock. A weak 3.5 (3.3).

Yeah, fair call. Although the fact that the 2nd half is better than the 1st sort of goes against that.

Ughh listened through this, and it's about a 2.5 right now. Mayyybe 3 at best. Only really strong song on here is the closer.
Going to retreat to my cave and listen to The Autumn Effect over and over and mourn the loss.
also, lol:

Give that 2nd half of the album more of a chance Brah... It does grow on you a little. And maybe even try my trick of mixing up the track ordering. 5-11 & then 1-4 works well with this album.

Hehe. It's because only a few people have rated the album. It will (hopefully) get a more relevant as over 20 people rate this album.

The four good ones (not FFTL) could easily just come from me.

I have rated FFTL. Didn't like Heroine that much though.

I am a huge 10 years fan and i am very disappointed there are a couple good ones, like the single Shoot it out, Now is the time, and Dead in the water i personally like Fade into (the ocean) the rest just dont cut it for me i was expecting amazing work because the single is very well done but i put it a bit above killing all that holds you. hopefully they will go back to the Autumn Effect sound. its by far there best album

Ooh, I was expecting people to not like this as much as their last 2, but some of the ratings from fans of the band are a little lower than I expected.

me to, Division sounds 10 times better live aswell but feeding the wolves sounds nothing like there solid material. they said they were experimenting into a more deeper sound i just hope they go back to what they do best in my opinion

Funny, I enjoyed the heavier, nu-metal-er tracks. I even though "Chasing The Rapture" was pretty good. I don't think this deserves a 2.5.... I'd be more aligned with Davey's rating. Not as good as Division or The Autumn Effect, but, still good.
I'm just holding off rating a little longer, I want to listen to it again.

I have a hardcore soft spot for these guys, will check this out.

Interesting thoughts CutMan... And probably what 10 Years are trying to do here; Appeal to as many fans as possible. The problem there is that they're only appealing to people with some songs, not the whole album.
Definitely worth a listen then CurseWorship. Just don't have your expectations too high.

The album seems boring after the first spin. I'll give it another go though.

Main difference between real music and what is manufactured. Whether they focus on singles to put on the radio or albums more.

Unfortunately, I think that is a valid point eternium. It may not be as black & white as that, but there is some truth in it imo.

Also decides the difference between the casual music listener and the music lover. Music lover
obviously listens by the album. To be very general, it's quite true, especially since music is
supposed to be listened as a whole album.
