lol I know I rag on him but this is an excellent CD...first and last songs are the best of course. Hmm, I think I could do better, you're right.

90 percent of the time, or at least since his songwriting stopped being awesome (after this album), he sounds like a senior citizen with bad emphysema got his vocal chords scratched by a greyhound. His 80's stuff is pop bullshit, and his early days were where he really shined in every aspect of his approach. Lyrically, he usually gets all the acclaim for his sad stories of every day life and modern culture, but usually he just rants like a lesser-Bob Dylan and sounds like shit. He's a fantastic live performer, and a great showman. I hate him as a person, and think that while he's an overrated artist, he had little flashes of brilliance in his early days, especially here.

there ya go everything about The Boss of cock sucking

come on do you really think his stuff after this (maybe Nebraska and Darkness can be excluded) was good? Born to Run is fucking BAD. At least he's better than his partner in crime, Bon Jovi

Darkness is great

The River is great

Nebraska is great

Born in the USA is great

Tunnel of Love is good

everything between tunnel and the Rising sucked, although the Rising was good.

Devils and Dust and tom Joad suck

last two are good.

Born in the USA is heartless pop bullshit. Everything after Darkness isn't worth a true music fan's time. Fuck that shit nigguh, its all about Metallica.

Nothing like reading a review for a classic written by someone with a sub-60's approval rating.
