I don't think I would like this.

give 'gravity rides everything' a spin and see what you think (use youtube or something despite its awful quality)
here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8crIHgjG1_I once again awful quality but great song
|
| |
yes, you would. give it a chance and stop being a negative nancy.
|
| |
Not being a negative nancy, just recalling that I listened to "Good News..." and recall scrunching up my face whilst wondering what the hell was going on.
EDIT: djdorama, okay fine... this is good.
|
| |
good news was probably not a good place to start, though it's where i started. it's much more poppy, much less indie.
aka not their best

Am I the only person that never really listens to What People are Made Of because Life Like Weeds acts as a perfect closer.

Album Rating: 4.5
Life Like Weeds is good, but What People Are Made Of is the left field song that this excellent, excellent album needed. That last scream from Isaac and the last punch in the chest to finish it makes me reach for the play button to let Third Planet tickle my soul all over again, also Stars Are Projectors is absolutely genius..amazing disc

Album Rating: 3.5 | Sound Off
Life like Weeds is the far better closer, I agree, but I don't find myself skipping What People are Made of cause I think its a pretty neat song. Would've been better if they'd switched up the order of the two, but what can ya do.
Nice job on the review, btw

I don't like this as much as I used to, they could definitely have cut some of the weaker tracks but this is still great.

this is my least favourite of the lcw/maa/tiald trio, but fuck me is it still absolutely amazing.
lewis, if you ever happen upon this comment, have you checked out any of mm's other stuff yet?
|
| |
what you reckon? what order would you put them in?
also, it gets a lot of stick, but get we were dead too. a lot of duds but a few real quality mm tracks.
