I haven't listened to Marina yet, no. I have about fifteen albums that need listening to at the moment so I'll have to get through them first.
And no I didn't vote as well - I didn't listen to enough new albums last year, and most of the ones that I tried weren't worthy of a Top 10 list by any means.

Dunno, I think most of the songs sound very similar, song progression is very standard, vocals are good but nothing special. Dare I say it has the same kind of appeal as a mainstream pop album in that it's instantly catchy but doesn't do anything unique?
Don't get me wrong, I think it's good, but very 3.5-4/5 territory.

That's absolutely fair. There's a chance that maybe I (and Sowing, for that matter) got a little over-excited. That being said, I am glad you at least appeared to enjoy it =)
As for me, although it's been almost a week, I'm still head over heels for this haha.
