I don't see why you think that. Tyler and Earl are the most talented without a doubt, but Hodgy has improved tremendously and Domo Genesis and Mike G are both pretty damn underrated. Left Brain and Syd are also great producers. Their lyrics aren't particularly amazing, outside of Tyler and Earl, but I don't think that means that none of the rest of them are talented.

And yet not a single mention of Jet Age

underrated by reviewer , overrated by most

album is like a 3.5 , really in-cohesive plus frank seems incapable of figuring out when to use 'good' and when to use 'well'

I enjoy quite a few tracks tho

This is a good fuckin' album, and I'm one normally to hate anything the majority of Sputnik considers good.

Frank Ocean's the man.

Still such an awesome album.

Novacane is up there as one of the best songs of the year.

This is pretty great but I don't see Frank getting any better. He'll probably lean to a totally derivative, mainstream sound (incidentally, I smell an Odd Future downfall this year) that will alienate the Sputnikers that enjoy his stuff.

On the topic of the song "swim good", I don't think swim well would sound nearly as good in the context of the song. Also, I don't think his lyrics are immature as much as playfull. I find his care-free word choice paired with his deeper themes to be part of his charm. I don't know if that's the best way to describe it but I'm sure sputnik knows what I'm saying. Even when his themes aren't deep or meaningfull like "swim good" or "there will be tears", I don't find his lyrics to be immature. It's not like an r&b artist is going to write an album using proper english, grammar and such because that's simply not the culture. /rantover

I don't really see a downfall coming. They'll probably fall off a little bit since every person in the world has been obsessed with them for 2 years, but I don't know about a "downfall."
