Yeah, agree with a lot of this review. If you guys haven't peeped his new live show, go youtube shadowsphere and enjoy. I was lucky enough to catch it a couple months ago at first ave, very impressive and put together well.

I actually believe Private Press is fairly close in quality to Endtroducing, it's a fantastic record indeed.

But pretty sure Blood on the Motorway was the first DJ Shadow song I heard (and realised I was listening to DJ Shadow), definitely a cool as song. As is Fixed Income etc., but nah Endtroducing definitely the clear leader.

From listening to records i just knew what to do

I mainly tought myself

And, you know, i did pretty well

Except there were a few mistakes

But um, that i made, uh

That i've just recently cleared up

And i'd like to just continue to be able to express myself

As best as i can with this instrument

And i feel like i have a lot of work to do

Still, i'm a student - of the drums

And i'm also a teacher of the drums too

What makes cancer tenatious?

a lot of good stuff is being produced as a result of the 'scale it back' remix contest.

really upsetting how this is being received here - this is still pushing a 4 for me. those who bother with it will recognize this is one of the best singles album released this year

Even if this wasn't made by Shadow this would still be a painfully average album
