Amazing review. For some reason this has been another band I've heard of but never really checked out. I heard about The Dear Hunter before these guys haha

I finally got around to hearing the acoustic version of "The Salesman, the Husband, the Lover". It makes me wish they would release an acoustic version of the entire album.

Beautiful review. Beautiful record. I don't think I will ever find any album I'll love more due to the time it came along the memories associated with it and last but not least the beautiful music that these five guys have managed to construct.

I do love them both, but I honestly think Mi Fa Mi is the better album, every song is there pushing to the end. BtHatS is different, though it does have cohesion, it is truly brilliant and the songs themselves are much more impactful by themselves but don't necessarily propel the album towards the ending.
Oh and what does everyone think of Weightless Underwater?

Well shit.
But seriously, that song is so good that it makes me not care about the rest of the album.

I'd say The Crop and the Pest and The Heir of Empty Breath are contenders for topping This Armistice.

I didn't used to think so, but as the years go by I've come to think that this album is perfect.

Nobody's arguing whether Bthats is good or not. Everybody here will admit to it being a great album, but some of us like the theme of this album and its connection to certain aspects of the world more than Bthats'. It's just preference.
