Wow this album flew so far under the radar I'm skeptical now whether it even exists. And I've listened to it straight thru a dozen or so times in the last week. Excellent, powerful, and profoundly obscure.

It's more post-rock than emo.

It doesn't really have any of the qualities of emo though, except for the occasional screamed vocals. The guitars are played in a way that is post-rock but not really the twinkly kind that you'd associate with emo. The guitars are quite dark and it has a lot of tremolo and stuff, and there are a lot of long instrumental parts.

Emo? It's Post-Hardcore mixed with Post-Rock.. that's all it is.
