'plus i mean it is just way too much fun to rip on this band because (going off his last three albums which I have heard in full) it rings true in many regards'
I understand that you feel the need to rip on this band but why you would feel the need to do it with the grace of an average town drunk is beyond me

I actually picked up Idolatry in a shady record shop a few weeks ago but I can't seem to remember where I put it

Great review, album sucks, after two listens this gets even more boring than before; its "good moments" are no longer that enjoyable, IDK virtuostic post atmospheric black sucks, gonna listen to some Darkspace cuz it has cosmic bleep bloop but still remains TRVE.

These days, when people detect ambition in someone they leap on that person like hyenas. The label "pretentious" is unquestioned as categorically damning. But I think musical culture could use a whole lot more pretension, if anything. It suffers from false, dishonest humility, and from a lack of ambition to be more than either entertainment or a badge of identification with a group. I think the haters have blinders on, and that they are misdirecting their aggressive energy. Somehow, they are hiding.

Album Rating: 4.0
Again, I'm probably the only person that feels this way but oh well.
Naw I felt pretty much exactly the same. The cleaner production too away the chaotic, dirty atmosphere and made the riffs seem weaker.
I like this album though. It sounds like Krallice but different.

This thread is terrifying and calming all at once, and I could not stray away from its path.

i hate 2 say it guys but i sort of agree with the conception of black metal as just staring into the face of or being enveloped by something unknowable, numinous, sublime (the latter word probably the best description insofar as it has the connotation of something both terrible and beautiful) and krallice arent especially "dark" i guess but thru their wall-of-sound/proggy approach i think they hit that, just in a different way than purists are accustomed to. which is fine, you guys can have yours and ill have mine. and yours. krallice 4ever
