anyone noticed this is the only dm band punks dig
|
| |
they were pretty "punk" before they went grindcore/dm, ppl still like those early demos but i think they're trash compared to their first few LPs
|
| |
yea they started with crust b4 they heard repulsion's tape and followed suit

no im saying the only dm albums punks dig seem to be by napalm death. is it just cause of the "we're political, mate" thing that carcass and bolt thrower lacked? both those bands were also heavily punk influenced (as were repulsion, terorrizer, tons of dm bands really)

i used to post on the melvins forum and all those dudes were really dismissive of any grind or death metal that wasnt singing about thatcher and reagan and shit

It's a tough call for me between this and the two prior albums but this is certainly in a spot of their top 3 for me depending on the day
