I personally could care less if Tom wants to split his dick in half and shove it back up his stomach, he/she whatever can still jam and this is a good album.

But even though I know it, I still retreat from this site a lot because even when you know people are fucking around it can still get to you.

Good album and all respect to laura jane grace. Think her transformation really shines through on this album and brings new life to against me

I haven't heard it but I hope I dig it. Transgender musicians are few and far between and I haven't really heard one peep I have really dug. :/

the change really doesn't affect tom as a musician, still sounds just as fine as he did back on Former Clarity

Not sure about this yet. Will need to give it a few more listens.
From what I have heard there are a few good tracks on here (Black me Out is great) but a lot of the rest sounds like a less catchy version of White Crosses to me.
I mean Unconditional Love would have been laughed at if it had been on White Crosses. Plus something sounds off with the production to me, could just be the stream so I will give it the benefit of the doubt but it all sounds a little all over the place.
I do think some people have come out a little strong in favour of this simply because they support Laura (which they should). Personally I thought White Crosses was an 'ok' album and this sounds about the same to me. I may come around but at the moment I'm not feeling it.

@lexluthor that is what I mean. I support her without reservation and I think the other band members are kickass for supporting her and the lyrical direction taken on this record. But I like what I like and don't what I don't and if this record winds up boring me I will have to treat it accordingly.
