This might be overhyped for some, but it deservse all the hype it gets.

Recharging the Void is probably the best song by anyone in years.

Yeah, I'm going to wait at least a week before I say any kind of shit like this is the best thrash album ever.

I could see this being a 5 though.

I'm gonna buy it digital when I get the chance, only because Apple fuckery means that you can't put songs from a physical copy of an album onto your iPod any more.

I pre-ordered the album because I knew it'd be a solid 4.5. The booklet art is fantastic. Vektor don't disappoint.

I am tempted to 1 this though because y'all need to calm down.

Also nice addition with the extra paragraph, the review feels more complete now.

I dunno hailing it as one of the best metal albums ever a couple of days after it was released is a bit silly.

It's like IMDB's reaction to every Christopher Nolan film.

The skull from the artwork looks class on the back of the hoodie. Yep Apple is just restrictions, have no intentions of using them again. Collapse is so good, hit me for 6 when it first came on.

1-ing something for the sake of it is basically the RYM charts, it's a lot more toxic than here.

Well I'm not gonna 1 it because I don't think it deserves it under any circumstances, but I'd just relax before making such grandiose statements. It's an exceptional album, perhaps even a landmark. But I'm not even sure if it's Vektor's best work, I'll need a while to let it digest. At least more than two days.

Someone did 1 it on RateYourMusic, actually; that same person gave Unquestionable Presence a 0.5/5.

Well I'm sure that someone out there truly thinks that poorly of this record, and there's nothing wrong with a rating reflecting that.

Absolutely outstanding record. I've been listening to this for five hours straight so far, and still counting. Recharching the Void is just mindblowing.

Damn people throwing 5s like its a strip club.

Would be curious to see if this score massively deflates anytime soon, though highly unlikely seeing how 80% of the band's fan base seem to be users here.

Album is masterful, so many winding riffs and passages.
