I wasn't aware of Audrey. But is it the same Sylvaine as Audrey? Seems like it may not be but if it isn't it's quite a coincidence that Neige has a musical relationship with two songwriters named Sylvaine.

Here is the one I was talking about.

Don't know if I would preorder from Prophecy in the future. Record didn't arrive on the 30th, and still MIA on the 31st. What's the point of preordering an album, if you don't even get to hear it the day it comes out?

Anyways. This rules, as expected.

I pre-ordered the vinyl on amazon and they changed the release date to the 14th. Not sure what happened with this one.

Futures is right.

I pre-ordered New Bermuda last year, and I didn't get it until the first week of December over two months after the release date.

Great review as usual bro, while it tinges on hyperbolic praise at some points it's well written and objective for the most part, especially considering what a fervent Alcest fan you are. Hopefully it grows on me but I'm slightly underwhelmed after 2 listens considering the incredibly high expectations i had. Still a fantastic addition to his discog in any case

First time I listened to this I thought the bonus track was actually the last song, it flowed much better that way than ending on Onyx.

They have a knack for doing that, apparently. Did a similar thing with the last Lantlos album, didn't they?

From what I have read yeah, I still haven't checked out that bonus track though.

man, that changes everything. I thought Notre Sang Et Nos Pensées was the last track and didn't realize it was the bonus song. It's a good song but in my head I was like, this is an interesting choice for a closer since it doesn't really wrap up the otherwise amazing flow of the album.

Gmork - You are talking about the bonus track on Melting Sun? It is arguably the best song on the album and vaulted it to my 2014 AOTY.
