Yeah I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how these tracks do live, especially dead and gone. Song is obviously trash on record, but a live performance might remove the sterility and pump in some gratifying energy

Saw State Champs at Warped on Monday. Dead and Gone sounds a little better live, but it’s a pretty garbage song. They put on a killer set though. Criminal off this was a banger when they played it.

I don't pay attention to pop punk anyways. I think the only exception is Wonder Years. Everything else isn't on my radar. I know there's some underground emo/pop punk revival movement but it hasn't caught on. Warped is dead and the scene is weak. It's not impossible but very unlikely the revival will trigger anything.

It's been a long time coming. I was fortunate enough to work at the WT in 2015. They ran into budgeting issues then as well. 2015 was a generally awful year for WT, but the unfortunate reality is WT can't sustain itself. It's extremely expensive the coastline of the United States and pay the smaller groups the amount they're charging. Not to mention the bands they do book are quite polarizing. On top of that, most of their money goes to non-profits from that tour.
