Both Fantano’s fans and detractor’s take him 1000% more seriously than he takes himself. He may be aware of the power he holds as “the internet’s busiest music nerd” but I don’t think he lets it get to his head. Calling out his taste would be like calling out literally any user here. He just had the foresight to get into reviewing on a platform he could build a career off of.
