I also prefer the debut, but this is still great. This is technically probably “better” but I think the debut has a more commandeering mood/tone (that is, absolute filth) that appeals a little more to me, personally.

Well what I meant was they were praising a ton of the same shit we all like here. The last worm foreverglade. The new hyperdontia. The new 200 stab wounds. They for the most part know their shit on the death metal subreddit. But just this particular album alot of ppl were saying this was a letdown. Like really ? This is the one album alot of you are going to say was a letdown. idk about all that. This is easily one of my favorite albums this year. Especially in dm.

If I remember properly debut is a little more on the filthy side. this one is toptier deathdoom, with awesome melodic guitar layers,just the way I like my doom. Drums sound remain awesome too, actually providing notes of many kinds.
