By far, one of Korn's best albums to date. I wasn't fond of Serenity or The Nothing, aside from a few tracks on each. This album slaps front to back

So korn fans is this stronger than the last album?

Yeah, I don’t know. I dig the guitar tone, it’s pretty fat. People have been complaining about how loud the album is in regards to the “compression wars”.

I think this is better than The Nothing which surprised me because I like Korn heavier, but I found this more melodic, streamlined album refreshing for some reason.

I think this is far better than The Nothing, it just feels more cohesive and has a better "Korn feel"

Thanks, Dedes! Yeah, I'm glad someone brought up the artwork. It's that perfect mix of clean, yet disturbing. It's kind of off-putting to look at in a good way.

i honestly don't get what the sput consensus hears in these modern korn albums. their last album was shite, this one is marginally better, but they just make albums that completely lack soul or energy at this point.

serenity of suffering - solid

the nothing - step down

this - soulless as fuck

Oh wow this has their most refined music since like Issues. Lots of cool Korn-y guitars/synths and nicely heavy riffs too. Luzier is Luzier and Davis is in fine form, still going for big choruses but better than on the past few albums

Thanks a lot, Purple! I appreciate that. Just try to write here and there when I can.

Couldn't agree more, Sabrutin. I find myself going back to "Hopeless and Beaten" the most. I love the extreme dynamics on that one.

Thank you to the powers that be for the feature as well. It's always an honor.

Nice review, that and the general positivity might make me listen to a Korn album for the first time since Untitled

Small feedback - I think you meant vocal histrionics rather than vocal hysterics but I could be wrong

Thanks, Shemson. You’re absolutely right. I’ll switch that out. Let me know what you think of the album if you give it a shot!

It’s not awful but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t bored by track 3
