I should really check this one, I love Ryan.

Some of his most intimate songs on this one. Check out The Shadowlands, gives you a taste of this records vibe.

The last couple minutes of The Shadowlands are stunning, gorgeous stuff.

A bit conflicted on this one, I really want to love it as it was the last highly regarded Adams solo album I hadn't heard but ultimately I can't help but feel it's another frustratingly inconsistent release. There are enough excellent songs here to make a truly great 40 minute album, why this had to be drawn out for 68 minutes is beyond me.

The thing with Adams is he's written as many great songs across his career as pretty much any of his contemporaries but those songs are spread a bit too thin across his many albums.
