Yeah MetalFrost they were still pretty hated at this point, think all of their albums 2011 and earlier have deflated averages here whereas their later ones might be inflated lol

Got a love-hate relationship with this band, never liked the title track on this one, drags far too much and I find it super irritating. Trying to give the rest of the album a chance but it's such a major turn off lol.

I can usually ignore dumb lyrics, especially if they're delivered with some sense of character... But my God, they're laughably bad here.
Watch The World Burn could be decent if it wasn't for that ridiculous chorus, the closer has the same issues.
Caustic is pretty awesome though, but this album is a painful, bloated endeavour.

of all the shows i went to this year they prob had the biggest bestest pit besides meshuggah tbh
from this album they only played the t/t and a skyline's severance

If I'm drunk enough I'm sure I'll end up in the middle of it all haha. Saw Alter Bridge the other week and the crowd was surprisingly dead. Even with Metalingus, not even a budge!? Was nice to just stand and take the performance in though.

I don't think I had a song on repeat for as long as I had In Waves on repeat when it came out. The very peak of my Trivium fanboyism came after Shogun when I had to wait an EXCRUCIATING THREE YEARS (/s) for another album and by now I could probably never hear the track again in my life and still remember it verbatim by the time I'm old and decrepit.

literally same i still jam the shit out of like light to flies, pull harder, down from the sky etc. after all these years but never have urge to jam in waves, prob has to do with how repetitive the song is
