She's great during the ending of "Six" for sure, I love the dueling vocal parts.
Honestly the jazz tag should be replaced with post-rock, they def don't have much if any jazz to be found really. I'd be willing to hear a counter argument but I'm not hearing it

yeah, maybe these guys played in jazz band like saetia or w/e but thats it

I've actually gotten quite a few friends of mine who dislike emo to enjoy this, interestingly enough
|
| |
its pretty smooth sailing except the awful singing on the closer imo

I like it though, but that's mostly because of how I view albums like this. To me, it's genuine singing--not clean, not polished, just an ordinary person spitting out their grievances. It really lets me connect with the lyrics, honestly, since it sounds so pure--he just goes for it.
Of course, it can easily be interpreted as 'bad' and I completely see why. But I really like it.
I also have this at a 5 so I'm just kind of a nut

yeah fair, plenty of the rest sounds genuine, that part came across as more self-indulgent to me

Go for it my man. Heavy post-rock influence thrown in, great dueling vocal lines, a violin is in the mix. Can't go wrong.
