circa survive is good friends with dredg and it's fa sho that there's a lot of influence there and Mars Volta. But I don't think you quite heard the album, you may have listened to it but I think if you would just chillax and listen to Stop the Fuc*in Car or We're All Thieves you may appreciate the musicianship and overall feel of the album way more. Of course I'm a huge circa fan so this probably me trying to convince you it's better.

I love this album. In my opinion it was so ambient but yet it gave me the sensation you get before you go down a dip on a roller coaster. I love the syncopated drumming on this too. The 1st time I heard The Great Golden baby on MySpace I was hooked. The combo of the singer, drummer & guitarist is unprecedented to me.
