"Summer unfolded like a tapestry

And you were there as you have always been

There glowing where the sky meets with the trees

Air softly crowing, singing fears to sleep

Will you ever know how much I love you for that

Will you ever know how much I love you"

I think this is the only 3.5 I initially gave that eventually turned into a 5.

How will I drink from that stream

How will my heart sing your praise

How will I lay down in green grass fields

When my soul is so afraid to

And nothing is forever in this place.

Nothing but the way my heart fits in your hands;

The held breath of hope;

And the sweet lingering taste of grace.

You should be glad if they're reuniting at all. What do you expect? A 20 show tour?

They're all long into their thirties now. I don't think Chris Simpson feels as existentially

challenged as he did before, to make a worthy Mineral album. That's the bottleneck with emo. And

that's also the reason why so many bands fail at creating a decent album within the genre: too

accomplished in life or just too happy lol. (or just lacking skills obv)
