I bought Grow Up and Blow Away. Fell in love with Metric. Haven't heard them since. I was in Best Buy the other day and I saw this CD in there. I instantly grabbed it and went to the counter. Went home, tore the plastic off and slammed it in my MacBook Pro. Come to find out after the 3rd track... they sound pretty damn different... for the worse in my opinion. Now they sound like some polished electro/rock cheese crap 90's stuff with the female lead singer sounding more like the chick from "steal my sunshine" (you remember that horrible song back in the 90's right? LEN was it?) ...gawd, I'm appauled at this trash. I had thoughts of throwing it out. I'm gonna play it a few more times and hope it grows on me, but wow, talk about change for the absolute worse. Grow Up & Blow Away was near-classic.
