Heartbreak Warfare is a decent pop jam.

definitely
it's the song that got me downloadin this thing the other week
seemed like it got kinda typically "john mayery" pretty quickly but still
not a bad listen

Yeah his only album that is really worth the price of admission is "Continuum". Everything else is just to middle of the road in my opinion. But he's got a few good pop songs on his track record.

Continuum is essential, everything else is good/meh.

Continuum is his obvious best, but this is quite underrated, and Born and Raised is an excellent Americana album. Plus his live record with the John Mayer trio rules. Overall a pretty underrated artist.

Yep I enjoy this and he can get too much shit. Overrated and underrated at the same time, odd how that works.

I would say definitely more underrated than overrated (at least by the more "serious" music community, not necessarily the popular sphere).

Fun listen tbh. Chilled vibes. Would be even better if he added some more guitar playing during the verses

Heartbreak Warfare is legit one of my favourite songs. Hits the exact right amount of atmosphere, catchiness, nostalgia, and epic solo

Reminded me that Assassin exists. I fucking love that song
