Right lol. Too many people are sleeping on this. Get on this though dude, it slays. Should be easy to find now since it's been reissued.

These guys were ahead of their time.

The stuff I review normally got slept on but it's all grade A regardless of how long it takes for the ratings to rise

And while we’re discussing obscure dm, you should definitely check Corpus Rottus. I wrote a little review for their only album, hoping it would give them a tiny bit of attention. Not sure if that worked lol but it’s sick, check it

Yeah there's tons of obscure bands/albums that are just as good as any of the more well-known classics. Gonna check those guys after I eat, don't think I've ever heard of them.

And yeah you'll def dig that album, it's kinda Immolation worship but that's a good thing. Their entire discog is good too, except maybe their debut (still slays but the production brings it down a lot).

Corpus Rottus album is a nasty one for sure. The reissue with the demos is killer. Almost prefer the demo recordings tbh. Filthy

Didn't get around to checking before but just got their stuff. I have their Nihilism EP and their Sounds of Silence LP. I assume Nihilism is the reissue you're talking about? Or is there another?

Rituals of Silence reissue but the 1991 demo is what I was referring to. Specifically the track FTH but honestly you don't need to go download it for a 1:30 long song. I had no idea they came back with an ep in 09 though. Definitely gonna have to jam

My bad lol the 09 EP isn't a comeback, it's a reissue of their 1992 demos.

Have you jammed D&Q yet dude? Trust me man, you will hear the Immolation (e.g. Close to a World Below) influence within seconds.

There's way too many dm bands that don't get the attention they deserve. These guys being one of them too, this shit rips. These dudes and Atrocity were both way ahead of their time.

Some have reviews, some don't, but even with revs and so many "underrated dm" lists, people still sleeping on shit that's an easy 4+ for pretty much anyone who likes dm.
