Stay Lucky is pretty clearly the best.

Definitely. I'm not as fond of The Diamond Church Street Choir as everyone else seems to be. Orphans is probably my second favourite.

I love the progression this band has shown over such a short time period. A very unique sound in a bland new rock world. Personally, I agree with Bouncing Souls guy earlier in this thread - their punk rock sound is incredible. I like Sink or Swim the best of all the albums. It has taken a dozen listens or so for me to really appreciate American Slang but now that I'm familiar with it I'm really digging it.

I'm psyched to see these guys in late July. I'm also seeing Streetlight Manifesto earlier in the month. Is it just me, or are these two band names some Bizarro World synonyms?

This album is awesome. Definitely competing with The '59 Sound for my affections.

I gotta say I'm a little dissapointed after the first listen. 59' and Sink both hit me as spectacular after my first listen, but I'm just not feeling the same way about this. But like I said it was just one listen, we'll see how I feel about it after a few more.

It's funny cause his name is Everything Evil and his avatar is the Huskers and he doesn't like this album...

Didn't say I didn't like it, said I'm dissapointed I'm not enjoying it as I did their first 2 albums. And about the Huskers thing...well fuck off lol. What are you Texas fan? Colorado?

I'm not any fan. But my bromance partner is going to college there next year instead of going where I'm going. And for that, I can muster up a legitimate amount of hatred.

I suppose that's a legitimate enough reason. As long as you aren't a Texas fan it's all good.

Why doesn't every rock band make music like this?
Because then this album would be cliche and boring and you'd all be talking about how much this sucks.

This album is so fucking awesome!!!

Sadly it's too similar to '59 Sound. But it's still as genius as that record.

Listen to this, then throw on Sink or Swim or The 59 Sound. This album can't compare, although it is still quite good. It lacks the emotion from previous albums.
