I'm sorry but some of these song titles are terrible. For example:
[*]I Love You
[*]Join Me In Death
[*]Bury Me Deep Inside Your Heart
[*]Death Is In Love With Us
God there's no hope

Hell was full, so I came back.
Razorblade Romance is a brilliant album. Il y a beaucoup d'awesome tracks. I think there are also a lot of great solos, e.g. Razorblade-Kiss guitar solo, Right Here In My Arms-solo. This album is a must for everyone.

I downloaded this album to see what all the hoopla was about with this band...
I think 'melodramatic' is an understandment for these guys. The lyrics are hackneyed beyond belief, the vocals reek of sap and 'angst' and the music is just plain one-dimensional despite the technical talent of certain members of the band.
sorry, no good. decent review though.

Album Rating: 4.0
 I was going to review this, you did a good job though. This is a brilliant album, of course some people aren't going to like it but that's life. For me it was instantly likeable and none of the songs have gotten old. I agree that One Last Time isn't the strongest track ever and that Razorblade Kiss is pretty much the best song on the album, along with a couple of others...
Ville Valo is a good singer, he has a good range and puts emotion into his lyrics and performances well.

| |
No, Poison Girl is the best track, not Razorblade Kiss!

HIM isn't exactly emo-metal, it's Love Metal, or Gothic Rock to be more precise. I find HIM to be a very intressting and evolving band. And I think teir first album, Razorblade Romance, compared to their albums Love Metal and Dark Light, show just how much this band has evolved.

4 things
1. they suck no matter what genre they are
2. nobody cares
3.If bam say's they're good, they suck
4.they are so bad they had to make up their own genre, i mean love metal, Puhlease!

^^ considering your music taste, what the hell are you even doing commenting on this band?
|
| |
Because it's an opinion oriented board, not a fansite.
|
| |
Too bad most people's opinions are full of ignorance and most people just go to bands like HIM to flame them witout even knowing what they are about.

this is very hypocritical coming from the guy that said "all rap suck" and later "Grind core in genrale sux"...

Stop coining the term 'emo metal', as you have no idea in God's balls what 'emo' is.
|
| |
Emo has been used so much on these wanna be goth/ pseudo punk bands it doesn't have much meaning anymore
stop being so hypocritical Cravinov, and stop handing out 5s to every nu-metal album you own
|
| |
You people are no less hypocritical then me. And yes I will admit many people think the same way with people taht include me.
And as for you people and Nu-Metal, half of you know sh!t about what Nu-Metal is. Most of you are pretty much "Ah, Nu-Metal! Gah!". What else can I say? It's retarded. And more then half of you people don't even know how to classify some of these bands. It's really aggrevating.
|
| |
Galapogos, you're right about emo. The term has been thrown around like a dildo at a lesbian orgy. It hardly has any meaning anymore.
