Yeah, which is something I don't really want these guys to become. This one and Isolation Songs work so well because of the melancholic vibes. I'm not sure being more upbeat really suits these guys. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Some of the melodies sounded pretty sweet though, so that's good.

Yeah I liked the melodies too, interesting that they're still doing harsh vocals but over more energetic music and keeping the tempo the same, will be a very interesting album...

I'd like to hear some more acoustics intertwined into the songs on the new album. The trailer didn't really hint at that happening, but I will hold out hope until proven wrong. "In The Woods" is such a fantastic track - if only they'd integrate passages of its ilk into some of their new songs as well.

It seems like a lot of doom/melodeath bands have been doing that recently, maybe they just want to stick with their formula. But agreed, Into The Woods is one of my favorites on here

A lot of bands force those elements in to vary up their sound instead of really integrating it into the music like Opeth have always done, but everything Ghost Brigade has done has been solid or great so I have pretty high hopes for them
