I love how shitty that monologue is hahaha. Any of you lads saw the boxset edition for this? Looks like a DnD set; it's so ridiculous that I kinda want it.

Much of this band's material up to From Chaos to Eternity is superb.

almost all their albums are top notch stuff. 3 of them are not top tier but decent nonetheless

Went through these guys' discography again. Probably good for what it sets out to do, but I prefer something with a bit more cojones. Too "Disneyland" for me, I'm afraid.

I don't want cojones, I want better song-writing, especially less repetitions or endless guitar and keyboard solos that sound the same. But yeah, for cheesy power metal, this is quite decent. Far from the heights other bands in the genre reached imo, but I like the overall mood.

disney metal

I've come to the conclusion that "Disney" isn't quite the completely correct terminology to use in regards to this band's output. I mean, of course it's still dorky and the cheese quotient is high, but it's cheesy in a more Excalibur '81 sorta way as opposed to Disney.
Disney is more something among the lines of that recent Wilderun album.

Twilight Force is Disney metal. Rhapsody sounds like that chad Excalibur '81 movie, as Thalassic said
