I rescind my sexism comment, you guys have proved Chan's point
|

album is solid, although speak now is easily her best imo
|
| |
The album's alright, definitely not her best, but not her worst either. I still like Fearless most out of all her work though.

guys but seriously how come women suck at music?
I legitimately want an answer.
|
| |
Like I mean sure you can make a list of a bunch of awesome female artist.
And like Kim Gordon exists.
But it's like 2% of good music.
|
| |
They don't, its that the major labels use female artist to throw out shitty pop music for a quick buck.

They were too busy maintaining what was already built.
|
| |
Statistics show they do.
Overwhelming massive amounts of statistics
There is no solo female artist or all female band in RYM's top 100 albums. And from my rough guess 6 of those albums have a women in the band.
That's not something you can just overlook.

rabbit please answer my question
|
| |
except that's a fucking retarded argument cause black people made: Jazz, hip-hop, blues and rock & roll.
And africans in london were essentially the primary influences on the original punk scene (and most definitely post-punk).
So black people are at the root of all the good music for the last 100 years.
|
| |
that's called a burn.
Now answer my fucking question

Similar concept, since "good" music has been a stereotypically masculine joint over the years women aren't encouraged to join in as heavily as men. The cycle continues, and therefore there are more men than women in the music world.
