"Not really an awful pun, just predictable. If alex didnt use it someone else would of abd to less effect. Give me puns Alex"
one of my best friends is a punster(?)
I like to consider myself well-versed in the ways of the pun, and as such, my official ruling is AWFUL

While not, by any stretch of the imagination, an album that will go down in history, I found this entry into Trapt's arsenal to be a step in the right direction (thus the the reason for the 3). The addition of synth enchances what was a bland and overused sound that can be found through a myriad of other bands.
Bring It was, IMO, a terrible entrance to the album, it was a weak piece of post-grunge nonsense that didn't fit the mood of the rest of the album. Maybe they were trying to get another "Headstrong" type hit...but it was even poor by comparison (never cared for Headstrong andyway).
There are some tracks that are catchy. I found myself listening to Too Close and Love Hate Relationship more than once. The rest seems like filler. It's a shame.
Chris Taylor Brown should be experimenting more with his voice and avoiding the mid-2000s nu metal/post-grunge stranglehold that has trapped so many of the bands of that era. I can hear it in plenty of places already...time to do something new.
They've got a new guitarist (Travis Miguel of Atreyu) and new drummer (Dylan Howard), this is their chance to re-define their sound. Hopefully Howard can actually bring real drums to future endeavors. We'll see. It's also a chance for Chris Brown to re-define his vocals and stop writing songs about being "tough" or overly attached to some nebulous relationship that's gone sour.
Headlining with Hinder is probably the biggest mistake that Trapt could have made. What a horrible, terrible, awful option.
