I love this record and I don't get the hate for it. Stacks up against most, if not all, of their best releases IMO.

holy shit, all 300 copies of the new album white vinyl variant sold out in 30 minutes. there was also a pink EU pressing that's also completely gone, and they actually ran out of their initial allocation of black vinyl and had to manually add more.

i re-listened to this recently and really enjoyed it. it's no oc/tgset, but it's solid. like a high 3.5 or a low 4. that said, loving the energy in the new song.

snagged one of the malort skeleton coast LPs to go with my glow-in-the-dark no dream. bought like 10 records this month, fml.

pta is probably one of the weaker tracks tbh. the album as a whole rules in my nostalgiac fanboi opinion. based on your ratings i'm not sure they're a band you'd dig in all honesty.

also brendan's vox are an acquired taste. i've only listened to it once so far and i was drunk, but it seems like chris has the lion's share of vocal duties on the new one.

Listened twice today, it's more in the mold of the 2000s stuff for sure

oh shit mallen what's up? hope all is well, dude.

it's sort of a sad album, but way way more energetic than metropole. neil's drumming was super impressive.

highly recommend blasting the new album thru speakers. listened to it thru earphones like 10 times over the past few days but tried with speakers for the first time today and it was instantly way better.

The Ramblin' Boys of Pleasure are BACK with a surprisingly mature and somber offering that ranks as one of the band's finest hours.
