Epica rapes lacuna coil, that band is perhaps the most overexpossed female fronted metal group and unlike nightwish, therion, epica, the gathering or theatre of tragedy they are not that skilled or that intense

I am really happy to see that this album has quite a popularity... Epica are often overlooked as cheesy and poppy (?) and ''okay, it's female - fronted, fuck this, its only for teenage girls and hobbits...'' and that's a shame...

Hey guys, why do you see it as a ''so bad it's good'' album? I think that objectively this is a really good album. Nothing cheesy, nothing Rhapsody of Fire-ish concepts. Ok, the lyrics were never the strong part of their music, but at least it's not THAT bad....No?

@Mythodea: The lyrics are pretty bad and this is cheesy, but cheese is cool and people are definately over exaggerating it. This is just well done Symphonic Metal from a average band who managed to finally managed to make a great album. Having the mentality of so cheesy it's 'hammybombasticmonstermelody' therefore a album that makes you feel good (maybe a guilty pleasure if that's how you role) is acceptable although called it "so bad it's good" due to it's cheesy mentality is dumb.
