It's like they wanna be The Knife and happy at the same time.

there isn't anything even remotely resembling the knife to be found anywhere on this album

besides, the knife were the most cheesily happy sounding band ever on their first two releases so those are hardly mutually exclusive factors

yeah but i mean Silent Shout isn't really an indicator of the groups entire discography but if this sounds like a happy Silent Shout I'm sure I'll dig it

I get you, I clarified it. Yeah, it sounds swell it's just not my cup of tea (even though I think SS is pretty awesome)

SS is indeed awesome as fuck but then again I was upset about the new Planningtorock being such a blatant rip off of the Knifes new album that it almost stopped me from enjoying it

but then i realized that thats a dumb reason not to like something and i calmed down haha.

i guess we will see, this could actually go either way

you remind me of the michael cera type that would come up to you mid conversation and just stand there and poke you over and over while giggling while you're trying to talk

whokill had like 3 amazing songs, 3 good songs and the rest was meh.

Agreed with this, although I still jam those 3-6 songs to this day (at least in summer time). If this one is more consistent then I'm pumped.

Much like her last record, I just found this really fucking annoying.

Best interlude ever.

I think this may be too quirky for it's own good. It seems really forced at times. Like it's being different and out there for the sake of being different and out there, I have no idea what I'd rate this atm.

It's insanely, purposely quirky and I despise it. I mean, just look at their naive, freeminded fucking videos of children clapping and her making those ridiculous grimaces (cause it's alright to behave in an ugly manner, kids, y'all remember that)

I sound so bitter, but this band just annoys me so bad I can't take it.
