The vocals actually remind me of Casey Crescenzo

Am I the only one who finds this way underwhelming compared to Garden Window (and a little dull compared to Disillusion, if much tighter)?

Garden Window is the GOAT in my book. But, I already like this more than Disillusion and that's quite the feat.

I erroneously said this was bottom-heavy when I thought "Burn" was track number 6 or 8 of 11.

Endless Light may be the most well-balanced album released in 2016. Listen with an open mind.

My only complaint is the end of the last track and how uneventful it becsme.

This band kicks hard. Just joined the site not too long ago and glad to see the love for this band. I think Garden Window is their best but all albums rule.

DO IT DO IT DO IT

Like, this is good but the arrangements and structures are nothing compared to their older stuff. This whole album is like a series of inferior demos for Garden Window's Poison!

I disagree with that assessment, johnny, but to each their own. Garden Window will always be my favorite. But, they've done something really special here. This stands on it's own. Can we talk about how fucking good every song is on this album? Complicated End Times, I Am (Become Death), T/T, Endless Light, that dirty, doomy guitar line in Your Move, the list goes on.

I'm not too big on Time is a Length of Rope or how the album ends- not sure why they added two minutes of uneventful noise after such a great song, but whatever. Aside from those two lulls, this is basically a perfect album, imo.

The hype for this album is off the charts - have not listened to it yet. What usually happens? Never lives up to the hype. Hope I am wrong. Excellent review and thanks.

I've never really listened to much post rock, much less any of this band's prior work, but this is actually pretty fantastic. Awesome review as well.

I think I pinned down the Muse moment. The vocals at the beginning of verse two in Complicated End Times sounds like the verses in Stockholm Syndrome.
