"I disliked Moon Water at first and it grew on me like hell so keep givin it a chance"
I like it, I can't stop listening to the record. I don't hate the song, it's just my least favorite. I'm sure it will continue to grow, with time.

the live version of MOON WATER was more of a song in its own right with a dope-ass climax on this it's more of an interlude, I still love it either way

This tops the new Radiohead for me. 2016 has been out of this world.

The last time I gave multiple 5's in the same year was probs like 2010...this year has just been one incredible release after another. Bon Iver and Radiohead are both 5's for me and YC is a somewhat personal 5, but nevertheless just boundless amounts of greatness emanating from 2016, particularly in the last month.

The new Radiohead actually grew on me over the year, I like it more now than initially, but yeah, this and the new Nick Cave are even better.

Nick Cave is great but just short of a 5 for me. It's an emotional gut punch but to me it wore off with repeated listens.

Yeah, I guess it relies on the listener being in very specific mood more so than 22, A Million, and even more than A Moon Shaped Pool (which is also pretty demanding in that sense)

yeah I'm betting Nick Cave actually fares better than Radiohead or Bon Iver in our year-end feature -- seems to have carried a lot more weight as being emotionally "groundbreaking" or whatever. But for me Nick Cave slides in comfortably near the top 6-10-ish.
