Window is so lovely, I love how the synths propel the song.

I feel about this album how I feel about Peripheral Vision. It's all so sweet and nice and kind of gorgeous, but I can't discern most of the songs and it doesn't engage me. I see the charm, but it just doesn't reach me. I think perhaps the reason I loved the Ben and Brianna songs on Charmer was they were split up by the ones Adam clearly wrote, and so there was a good balance.

At the same time, though, I don't know if any of this is as good as a Hum, Teen Rocket, or even a Frame You. I'm glad I'm alone in this, though, I'm sure this deserves the praise, and Tigers Jaw are all the heart emojis.

Yeah I'm not really feeling this as much as I'd hoped but maybe it'll grow on me

I agree with your criticisms Blushful, this is too light & airy to really connect with

I can understand where you guys are coming from for sure. It's easy to see how this might not really connect truly with some people, but for some reason the understated but beautifully melodic style to this really connects with me.
Maybe because I've been a really big fan of understated, more mellow music lately. This is kind of a compromise between being really pretty and melodic but still kind of low key and chill.

I've always found that "light and airy" feeling to be a part of Tigers Jaw's charm, but this album definitely feels a bit too samey without Adam's vocals. It's really starting to grow on me though, probably listened to June 15 times today at least.
