surprised more people dont talk about this. it's absolutely amazing, the band is fairly popular, and you know it was really high on pitchfork's 90s list--the surrounding albums are talked about a lot more.

get this srsly guys

this has the 1:00 mark of 'the spark that bled'

so it wins above every other album ever made

that's a great, great run. especially spark that bled. but other albums can sustain it for longer i feel. clouds taste metallic! and yoshimi which i would take over this i think.

This is their best by far imo (and my 1st or 2nd favorite album ever). Yoshimi's kinda like the little brother to The Soft Bulletin. Clouds rocks more but this is way more intricately composed.

Two things:

1. Race For The Prize has the coolest drum beat even though it's really simple.

2. The original version of the song is much better than the remix

^Yes and Yes. Also, the remix of Waitin' for a Superman has the best vocal harmonizing ever.

the best moment on the album is either the 1:00 mark of 'spark that bled' or the 'i was glad that it didnt destroy you...how sad that would be....cuz if it destroyed you.....it would destrOOOOOY MEEEEE' (ugh makes my heart burst man) on 'spiderbite song'
