Going from Redeemer of Souls to this is like going from Killing Machine/Hell Bent for Leather to British Steel.

@Xenorazr better, it's like Point of Entry to Screaming for Vengeance.

Album seems to get a lot of praise. I'm not really into metal anymore, or very little. I might try it at some point, since it's a new and promising Judas Priest.

This has many flaws but it gets many props cause it really is WAY better than anything Priest has released in ages

Considering the band have been around for nearly 50 years, an album this solid is pretty damn commendable.

It's like Sabbath's 13. It's just nice hear them be heavy and hungry to show off, even 40 years after their heyday.

@Jethro if you're not already a fan I wouldn't bother. It's good but nothing they haven't done before. Sad Wings, Stained Class, Screaming for Vengeance, and Painkiller would be good places to start (all very different).

Yup, this album definitely kills. Really consistent and solid from start to finish, and I like that there's only one ballad (which doesn't feel completely forced). If this ends up being their final album, I'll be happy. Would be a great, final hurrah.

@Friday;

Thanks for your advice, bro. I've already heard most of these albums you rec to me, but I have to revisit them all.
''Electric Eye'' and ''Another Thing Coming'' are the songs I kinda know by heart because of the airplay they got.

m/ Screaming was my intro to Priest too. Still love it. So catchy! When I bought a guitar "Breaking the Law" and "You've Got Another Thing Comin" were the first songs I learned to play.
