I would also agree with you jrowa. Especially Mikee with all his weird animal impressions - Flogging the Horses to this day remains one of my all time fave songs ever just because of his manic vocal performance over the top of some sumptuous riffing.

Trojan,
Are you by any chance Confessed2005, just with another user name?
These guys wear off quite fast and the vocalists sound like whiners.

I think the musicianship is stunning on this album but the singers make me cringe. There are still a few riffs on here that still make my jaw drop to the floor in disbelief. I need to relisten to this again (been about a year hahaha).
I'm curious to hear what their new lead singers will be like and how much they have stepped up their tech skills.

Ha, one of their vocalists reminds me of Little Jimmy Urine, minus the awesome/awful lyrics. Great, great stuff.

I remember I looked into this and I really didn't like it, at all. Oh well.

Album is like maple syrup without sugar. Thick and rich, but can be hard to swallow.
I love it though, nearly a 4.5 for me.

I simply cannot get tired of this album. I've had it for a year, maybe longer, and I still enjoy every song every listen.

This is a very good cd. Sikth is an extremely talented band and every song on this cd is very memorable. That being said, this band is no more also, they broke up a couple weeks ago, it sucks. This is definitely better than their previous release and I would have loved to see where they went with the next one, too bad. The talk about the vocals, just reading people's comments, you have to get used to them, but thats one thing that made them distinguishable aside from the awesome music.

One of my friends actually recommended this to me, and i'm pleased. Awesome album. Vocals are a bit weird sometimes (like the first few seconds of flogging the horses) but it's great none the less. Hard to pick a favorite, might be Part of the Friction.

Massive shame they broke up for good. Flogging the Horses is my fave from here. Instrumentally, this album is incredible.
