The continuous line of consistency is nice, but after a while I'd like to see more diversity with bands like this. Only so many bands can actually get better at writing songs in their style as time goes on rather than become stale; for me, DGD probably is nearing their last straw before I only give their albums a passing listen instead of looking forward to them.

Same here, I like it enough where I'm not disappointed. Plus, its release date was perfect in the sense that it gives me enough of what I'm looking for out of them, but I have so much time to listen to artists that I haven't gotten around to yet that I'm alright with solid-yet-unspectacular releases
