It's wild how criminally underrated basically every post panzerfaust album is, barring maybe one they're all great.

Agreed, the mid-era albums are almost without fail substantially underrated, as are some of the late-era albums as well.

There's approximately one almost bad Darkthrone album and it's plaguewielder.
|

I think people still underrate panzerfaust too because it’s just as good as the other OG albums

Not wrong, it's just shy of the big three.

> Panzerfaust is a solid 2.5
Oh, you left an accidental "2." before the correct number: 5.

If you don’t like panzerfaust you just don’t like riffs and that’s ok but you’re wrong
|

panzerfaust is the best one yeah

Yeah i honestly prefer panzerfaust over ABITNS and UaFM

Panzerfaust was my gateway to Darkthrone.

This sounds like a first-take demo that legacy Celtic Frost would shelve in a heartbeat.

Panzerfaust rules, I think darkthrone albs always age well despite anyones opinions at the time because Fenriz just makes whatever the fuck he wants and he doesn’t care what people think, but he understands where bm actually came from and you can just sense how much he admires the progenitors of the genre
|
| |
i really appreciate their stripped down approach which basically means that the quality of the riffs makes or breaks the album.
it worked for eternal hails, I hope it works for this one too.

I prefer this over eternal hails. Eternal hails is my least favorite of the last 3 albums

@Hyperion totally, it’s all just right there with no apologies
|
| |
I don't get this album.
>This sounds like a first-take demo that legacy Celtic Frost would shelve in a heartbeat.
Uncannily this was exactly what I thought.
