Jeff Mangums ear aching voice shouting out “I love you Jesus Christ". For some this ruined the whole listening experience and for others made them burst into tears because they couldn’t contain their laughter

The concept is just a little off the rocker too. So I guess the fact that the concept, lyrics, and his voice are just completely out there make the album cohesive.
And, Oh Comely is great.

Oh Comely is genius. i mean i can see why someone can't really enjoy this album or understand its genius, but giving it anything less that 2.5 seems like a sin. there's obvious talent here which i think automatically warrants a 2.5. the review is good, but the reviewer enjoyed several songs off here, so why give it such a low rating? attention?

i mean it would make sense. i read the review and it was really good. i think the rating you have right now, a 2.5, makes a LOT more sense based on what i read than a 2. a 2 just screams for attention

yeah, so i have now. i quite like the instrumentation, not too fond of the vocals so much, though in the first couple of tracks it all works really well. dunno how to rate it yet, probably higher though.
