Underrated album. Never liked anything else by them, and I’ve tried several times. This is the best. New one should be interesting

Keep meaning to recheck this and see how I feel now, tonight's as good as any
Digging: Tyler, the Creator - Chromakopia |

The album came out when I was in my mid twenties so there some nostalgic factor to it, but to me it’s almost perfect. I only thought a couple songs were just okay, but not bad. It’s not groundbreaking, but it did enough for me. Enough to where I’ll never forget it

I really like this. I give Foxing credit where they did the T.S.O.L thing where none of our albums will be the same, but by the time I got into Nearer my God they changed again. Weave is beautiful and this is a very good album.

Would def cop this, such a great late night atmosphere record

Redwoods is so freaking beautiful, sure there are a couple of just nothing songs but those lulls do build back up to even better songs as mentioned. An album sometimes needs a couple rated 2/5 songs just for flow. As long as they aren't annoying garbage and just nondescript stuff.

idk i definitely think this is much worse off with laundered and the closing duo but to each their own
ngl i combined this and albatross to make the ideal 13 tracker between the two anyway and that woulda been cookin

Yeah leaving out bit by a dead bee is tough for me but honestly I’ll try this out!
As much as I love the band, a lot of that love comes from their newest records. Dealer and Albatross both have a few duds on them imo

And you not having Rory immediately following the medic had me worried for a sec until I saw it as the closing track. Gotta admit that it would make a great closer imo
Like, well I was drunk so maybe im misremembering, but I feel like almost every time I’ve seen them they closed with Rory. Aside from when they did the Albatross anniversary tour
|

I like both bit by dead bees. Overall that mix looks fine. I like Quietus. I really grew to like the 'Albatross.'
Nearer my God has one of the worst indie songs ever so they accomplished that too. It's Crown Candy. Holy crap!

This aged pretty badly

No. Eiffel is great too. I blame myself for not trying to get into them anymore after NMG.
|

Looking back at last comments. I liked Laundered and at least one of those last two songs is good too. I forget what one I liked. OK Coda is basically just Eiffel but just follow up. Those bands with their instrumentals that segueway into another song seamlessly. Three on a Match is fine, but I often think Coda is just an extension of Eiffel.

laundered is pretty hard for me to sit through. their worst song methinks. would rather jam crown candy 10/10 times and uh thats sayin smth
