I've tried multiple times over the years to get into weakling because it's so highly praised but idk... I just don't feel it at all.



With the twilight circle bands, I was all about it when this stuff was coming out, but I just feel like it hasn't aged well. Mostly seems bland and boring now when I go back to it. Plus, I feel like it kinda started the trend of modern death/black metal bands going with that "cavernous" sound

this is solid but actually prefer the 2009 demo. this is a bit less structured and kind of all over the place. definitely need a few more listens though. closer is definitely the standout, the clean breaks are phenomenal.

another listen picking up a bit more than i initially did. such a nice variety of riffs. i just wish the builds were a little more elongated, they build nicely but then the full band just pops in kind of abruptly with the blast beats. great stuff to drift off to.
