I actually love the mellower sound here, it definitely has a more consistently serene vibe which I dig. Full throttle Cave is a blast too, just a different beast.

The Ship Song is incredible. This might be the ‘smoothest’ listen of early 90s Cave. Highest ‘lows’ or something
… I still can’t decide between this, Henry’s Dream and Let Love In. And yes, I have to choose. Today it’s this (until I revisit one of the others).

"Caramel Prisoner" from Air's "10 000 Hz Legend" comes to mind as another favorite album closer of mine.

I yearn for the motivation required to write a usurping review, kicking out the stinky fish. I mean, to me there’s no fish(?) present, but will presume it’s an invisible scourge we need to eliminate
